#Battlestate games launcher won't start install#

Why won't the launcher install the game? I have several friends at work who won't shut up about this game and I was really excited to experience it for myself.

This happens whether I check the box for auto-updates or not. When I try to install the game, the loading icon appears briefly in the lower right of the launcher window before disappearing and then the Install button reappears. Then I opened the launcher again and miraculously everything went back to normal. So I did the download installation from this link: -US/cpp/windows/latest-supported-vc-redist?view=msvc-170 pulled through. But i didn't buy tarkov because i can't (i don't have the launcher) so Google is saying that i have to somehow without the launcher buy and install the game and then install the Launcher? Please explainīut now on January I got this error message that something is wrong with the launcher as was already described in all the messages above. And it didn't give me any link or anything that i could use to download the launcher so i googled: how do i download battlestate launcher and it said: once you have bought tarkov click on the profile page and press the install button. So i want to download the game and couldn't find it on steam or anywhere so i googled it and found out that it has it's own Launcher so i went on Google and wrote: battlestate launcher download. When i manually open the launcher from the installation directory it still says the same thing When I then try to open the launcher it says that it is unable to find to location of the application. it goes to extract and then switches to rolling back and closes the installer without a warning.

It says critical launcher update I click on restart it opens up an installation window. yesterday it somehow worked after 3 reinstalls but today i can't get it to work.

I have somewhat the same issue I ran it as admin turned off firewall and reinstalled a couple of times. Why not just store the other files in AppData as well? I saw some people had antivirus issues with the temp files inside the installation folder, while the temp files in AppData were completely fine. If nothing happens then idk.Īlso why are there two different temp paths? Some temporary files are stored in AppData while others are stored in the launcher installation folder. Make sure the 'bsglauncher.exe' in your details tab is also closed. If nothing happens for 30 seconds click on the update button and close out the launcher through task manager.

Turboccxr I had an issue earlier where I wasn't able to patch my game. What do you mean by directory ? You mean anohter part of the hard drive? For example instead of installing it in My Documents install it in Program Files and separating it from the launcher ? But how can you do it please. Okay i found the Battlestate Games directory is being made 'read only' after BSGLauncher updated, everytime i tried to untick read only, it would revert back to read only, so i downloaded and installed the game to a seperate new directory different from the launcher directory and it worked. When i went to the logs of the game it puts me this : Assert.raiseExceptions:'False' I tried to reinstall the launcher alone but when it asks me to update it (critical update), the same problmen occurs after the reinstalling of the launcher.
